Save 40% on Mount Mercy University tuition! The low cost of $465/credit hour reflects a 40% discount off of the regular tuition price.

A successful Mount Mercy student is confident, caring, quick to lend a hand, happy with who they are, and excited about where they are going. When you earn your degree from Mount Mercy, you are prepared as a professional who can meet the demands of the workplace and address the social concerns of the community. Employers often comment that Mount Mercy alumni are ready and prepared to actively engage from the first day of employment.

Every MMU student will participate in a Mercy capstone course near the end of their educational journey. This course is a culminating hands-on approach to the liberal arts, and is another piece of the Mercy experience at Mount Mercy University.

Tuition for the 2015-16 academic year (starting August 24, 2015) will be $465 per credit hour, and Mount Mercy University has a flexible transfer credit policy, making each program an affordable and excellent investment -- over 97% of Mt. Mercy graduates are either employed or in graduate school within nine months of graduation.

Current students have cited that their top reasons for choosing and staying in a MMU program are:

  1. The flexibility to start and stop studies as needed, as new courses begin every 5 weeks.
  2. The personalized attention given in small classes (classes are capped at 25 students) with faculty who have real-world experience and go "above and beyond" to help students.
  3. Mount Mercy University’s reputation and the institution’s commitment to leadership and compassionate service.
  4. The freedom to balance coursework and home-life commitments, as the online course structure does not require students to log in at certain times through the session.

"The reason why I choose to study in Mount Mercy’s online program is because of both the flexibility and the quality of education you receive. Knowing that I no longer have to stress about working a 40-hour job around my school schedule is very convenient. When it comes to the quality of education, I often refer to my experiences at community colleges. At times, I felt as if I was just a number, but at Mount Mercy, you can tell that the faculty really does care about educating their students. My experience so far has been great! I am extremely happy that I decided to come here. I feel like anyone who wants to come out of college a more well-rounded person with a better understanding in whatever field of studies they choose needs to come to Mount Mercy."
