How Many Credits Can I Transfer?

Community college or technical/vocational school

75 Credits

Undergraduate students with an associate degree from an Iowa community college may transfer up to 75 credit hours

63 Credits

Undergraduate students may transfer up to 63 credit hours from any other two-year institution, such as a junior college or technical or vocational school

2.0 GPA

If you hold an associate degree from any Iowa community college and graduated with a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher, you will be automatically admitted to MMU

93 Credits

Undergraduate students can transfer up to 93 credit hours from one or more four-year institutions

12 Credits

Graduate students can transfer up to 12 graduate-level credit hours

2.5 GPA

Strong consideration will be given to applicants with a cumulative transfer GPA of at least 2.5

Students may transfer up to 60 credits obtained through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
